Community Involvement

Tim and Traci's Volunteer Activities Include:

  • The Professional Advisory Council of the Omaha Community Foundation.
  • Board of the Salvation Army where both Tim and Traci have been active in the Kettle Club Tree of Lights Campaign and Cabinet and also the D.J.'s Hero Luncheon.
  • Board of Trustees Member of the Boy Scouts (since 2003) serving on the Investment Committee and an Executive Officer/Committee Member and is an Explorer Post Charter Holder and has taught Scouts about careers in Investing/Finance/Insurance and has taught the "Personal Finance Merit Badge" to scouts who are working for their Eagle Scout.
  • Served on UNO's Advisory Board and is part of the Chancellor's Club.  Tim and Traci also give a full ride scholarship annnually to a Business School Student in Finance/Investing.
  • Past Board Member of Millard Public Schools and was on the Investment Committee of the Foundation.  Tim was also recognized amoung one of Millard South Highs' Alumni Hall of Fame.
  • Tim and Traci are chairing the 2010 100th year centennial Gala this June and are the Title Sponsors of the event along with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.  Co-Charied the Boy Scouts golf outing in 2006, where they raised $65,000.
  • Past board member of E.O. (Entrepreneur Organization Board) as the Learning Chair and will be again in 2010.  Tim will be attending the "Global Leadership Conference" in Hong Kong.
  • In addition to time spent - Tim and Traci give to a number of different causes, mostly centered around education - especially for those in need and children.  Their passion is in Financial Education and helping people in need to get a let up  and a chance to start over and build a better life for themselves.  It is their belief that Financial education should be mandatory not optional.
